THE WEBSITE SAGA
Earlier I had mentioned getting a new art website for half price after praying that morning for a deal. Well, I emailed in my request by midnight that day, and a signed contract the following day,which also had to be in by midnight or I would not get it for half price.....and I heard NOTHING. Meanwhile, Christian did the same for his photography business and got confirmation back from them right away. So I kept asking them to confirm whether or not they received my signed contract... and no word back. This went on for almost a week, until finally, after much concern, I was able to surrender the whole thing to the Lord, knowing that if I did not get it, He was protecting me in some way.
I had the best night's sleep that night, and wouldn't you believe it, the following morning they called and apologized for not getting back to me before, but their email was down, and lines of communication were all messed up and overloaded.
I have much to learn in order to rest in my Father's care of me. Now I'm ashamed that I was anxious and worried that I would not get the half price deal after all. If it was from God in the first place, wouldn't He see to it that I got it? And if it was not His will for me I truly would not want it anyway. I believe God was more concerned with teaching me a thing or two about resting in His care and love for me in this new area of websites. To say I am technologically challenged is a joke ( see comments by my family on Christian's blog if you don't believe =), BUT my heavenly Father is a web master, and I have no doubt that I'll have a new alive website shortly to His honor and glory. Check it out in a couple of weeks if you don't believe, and see what He's going to do. =)

Jacqueline Benny strikes again! The half price deal would worry me, too! What is it about money that bothers us so much?
Well, for one thing, that's all I had in my art account =)
Good websites can be very expensive!
