CHRISTMAS

I finally have time now to give some highlights of our Christmas. On Christmas Eve we all went to see the Nativity (PA grandchildren included) and really liked it. It was really well done we thought ,and I highly recommend it. Even our 9 year old grandson, Tim , said this is one movie he would like to own. It really was a blessing to us all - especially being able to see it on Christmas Eve.
The other eventful thing I wanted to mention happened on Christmas morning just as we were leaving the house to go to the airport to pick up Sean. As Al opened the back door for me I stepped outside (down a little step), and twisted my right foot really badly. I landed on my ankle instead of on the soul of my foot. Immediately I was in tremendous pain and knew it was serious. What flashed through my mind was the fact that it was Christmas Day and we were about to see Sean whom we had not seen in three months. I was bent over with the pain and could not even talk for a few seconds, even though Al kept asking me what was wrong. Then the thought came to me to pray and God would heal me. I could see my instep swelling, and I placed my hand on the top of my foot and Al and I prayed a very simple prayer that God would heal me. In a matter of a few seconds I took Al's arm and tried walking. The pain very quickly subsided and I found that I did not need his arm at all, but could walk perfectly by myself. By the time I walked down the steps and got into the car, it was hard to believe I was in such pain only seconds ago. The swelling went down and my foot felt perfectly normal, and has been ever since. What a Christmas present!
We picked Sean up on time and spent a lovely day together, and we all went to Will , Dana ( our daughter) and our grandchildren for our family Christmas the following day as usual.
Hope you all had a really wonderful Christmas, and wishing you a New Year filled with God's blessings.
